If you ship 10 kg of normal goods at $7/kg to Nigeria
Total Cost = 10 x $7 = $80
Now, you talk about customs clearing fees.
Total clearing fee = 10 x ₦950 = ₦9,500
For Sea Shipping: #
Shipping is charged based on volume (CBM) — not weight.
CBM = [length (cm) x width (cm) x height (cm)] ÷ 1,000,000.

If your goods total 0.3 CBM to Nigeria and the freight rate is $180/CBM
Total Cost = 0.3 x $180 = $54
The customs clearing fee: ₦240,000 per cbm
Total Cost = 0.3 x ₦240,000 = ₦72,000.
📌 For small packages under 0.1 CBM, we often offer shared container space to avoid losses. The customs clearing fee is only available to Nigerian shipments. Shipments to the UK, USA, Ghana, Australia, Canada have no separate customs clearing and taxes.
